Hi Crafty Friends, Today we are quilling! Quilling is fun, easy, and inexpensive and you can make fabulous projects with a minimum of effort. What's not to love!
You only need a few basic supplies to get started. You need:
Quilling papers in a variety of colors,
A slotted quilling tool,
A quilling needle (like a pokey tool for getting in small places,
A sizing tool
Gue (we strongly recommend a needle tip glue bottle)
We also recommend having:
A Cork Board
Pins
Fine Detail scissors
Tweezers
Gems and Beadies or Prills for flower centers (if desired)
All of these supplies plus a few extras are included in our Quilling Kit. We also include supplies to make two sample cards. Get your Quilling kit HERE
Because we didn;t get as far as anticpated today, we will be adding an extra Quilling session next week. The topics for next week include:

Making Flowers Using Die cut Flower shapes
We will push our next Quilling Class, "Quilling with Carta Bella," back one week. In this fun class, we will create 12 cards from our inexpensive Carta Bella Kit, which can then be decorated with our new quilling techniques! I made up the full paper pack and I think I got 17 cards from the papers supplied in this kit. The twelve cards we will complete cost $1.41 each (plus the cost of any quilling we add to them.) You will have a dozen fabulous cards for less that $2.00 each!

During this Live Stream, Debbie will be using this exciting box kit from Indigoblu to create cards. This is just the box kit as sold and you will need to bring in supplies from your stash to create along with us. We recommend having handy:
a hybrid stamp pad,
something to color with (colored pencils, watercolor markers, or alcohol markers),
stamp pads (she used fire coral and peacock green),
and some type of blender.
This 68-page issue of IndigoBlu Magazine & Kit Mixed Media Special gives you plenty of tips, tricks, and ideas from IndigoBlu amongst others. This magazine comes complete with an exclusive 21-piece A4 stamp set, 6in x 6in backgrounds stencil, 3-piece Bloom dies set, and a 32-page A4 paper and topper pack.

During this class, we will continue our Introduction to basic quilling techniques. shells, fish, seaweed, bubbles, and other shapes that can be used in a multitude of ways. You will then combine the things you have to make one underwater card and a variety of flowers. Come join in on the fun!
Quilling Kit:
6 packs of quilling paper
1 pack of Die-cut Quilling Flower Strips
1 Flower Guide
1 Cork working board and sizer
2 pairs of scissors (1 detail pair)
1 wheel of Pearl Head Pins

Live Stream Quilling with Carta Bella!!!
During this class you will take techniques learned in the basic quilling class to create beautiful cards featuring the collection Flora from Carta Bella embellished by quilled accents. We are making 12 cards but you can easily make more. Many of these wonderful cards feature beautiful sayings.
Includes:
6- 12x12 papers in the Flora collection by Carta Bella
1- Chipboard in the Flora Collection by Carta Bella
10- A6 Cards and Envelopes
1- 5x7 Pearl Card and Envelope
1 6x6 Card and Envelope
NOTE: You will need the Quilling Kit from the Basic quilling kit class to make these cards.
